I'm having mixed feelings towards my brother,

Well earlier today he went to my house. We just came home from the cabin so we were really tired. He looked pretty anxious and stressed, so my mom asked him what's wrong. He said him and his girlfriend want to get married. He's 21. She's 21. My family never really liked his girlfriend. Everytime she would come by she would always go straight to his room with my brother and close and lock the door. They would go shopping alot and my brother would spend alot of money on her. She only gave a ride to my mom to get on my mom's "good side" so that she could encourage my brother to court her and become her boyfriend. It worked, at ever since then, she never talked to my mom. My mom asked her not to go right into my brother's room anymore without saying Hi, because my mom doesn't like that. She never came back to our house. Now it's my brother who is always going to her house. Now, my brother told my parents that they want to get married, quick. My mom said some stuff. then my dad, then they both asked when the marriage would take place, if it does happen. He said next month. o_o I don't know if I should be happy towards him or sad, or mad, or pissed. Most of me wants to smack him and tell him that his girlfriend is only after his money, but he wouldn't believe me. He left 15 minutes after telling my parents that and then called us back around 3 hours after. He told my dad that he wants both of my parents to come to the house of his girlfriend's, as the parents want to talk to eachother. Then, my dad got a phone call and it was the father of my brother's girlfriend. He said "Something happened. I think it's best we talk now." We're not stupid. We know that my brother has been having sex with his girlfriend and if not she's pregnant AND we know that they know about it, they jsut weren't telling us. I've talked to my parents about it and now we believe that my brother's been in a way, "brainwashed" by them,and that this is all a setup just so that my brother could marry their daughter. They're going to the Philippines in October, so maybe that's why they want to get married next month so that they can all go back and my brother can spend all of his money on them. =/ I really don't know what to think. My parents aren't home, as they went to the house to talk about it with the parents.. I'm home alone.

My older cousin had this problem. 'Cept the girl did voodoo, ended up cutting his younger sister's hair, doing some stuff, then him going to jail for assaulting a woman. By that, she forced him, in a way, to beat her up. All he did was punch her.

I believe you have every right to feel mad/upset/sad toward your brother. That's your flesh and blood and you want to protect him, so yeah I can understand where you're coming from. But you need to realize EVERYONE at that age makes stupid mistakes. It can involve love, money, fame or sheer stupidity but everyone at some point in their youth makes a drastic mistake that most likely flips their world upside down along with those around them. I think you should let whatever happens, happen. He'll come back when he realizes that the pretty little girl he's about to marry is actually a she-wolf in disguise (the kind that uses your money to wipe the sink clean of any manhood that's left in there). Learn from his mistake, if anything, and realize that love is more than spending money and ignoring your family, the person you are meant to marry will respect you and your family and won't spend every last dime you have. Hope this helps :D
