In a lot of the shadower boss videos ive seen, many of them are using the SB, SB, BS combo ( repeatably ) . Correct me if Im wrong, BS is alot more power full then SB and therefore SB is only used to fill in the gap time during BS cool down. Ive recently tested and I managed to only use 1 SB (instead of 2) during each BS interval (BS, SB, BS ,SB .... ) Is this a more effective way?l

It's probably because most of the video's that you've seen were made before June 2009 (very recently), or w/e month had the patch that reduced the BStep delay/downtime. From the time 4th job came out a few years ago, until very recently, BStep had a downtime of about the time it takes to use to SB's (which explains shadowers using the SB + SB + BS combo, instead of SB + wait ~1 second doing nothing + BS. Consider yourself lucky.

The videos you watched were probably made before the skill revision patch/sc (don't remember which it was haha) when the bstep delay was longer.

How are you supposed to macro the skills with one SB anyway? Neither BS SB BS nor SB BS SB works efficiently. So BS SB SB is still the best way to do it

Sometimes it is better to SB + SB + BS so you don't get hit. Some bosses have random cast patterns which also occur at different intervals. I'd rather execute one less BS overall, rather than getting hit when coming out of BS.
