Random Defamers?

I hope this is the right forum to place this in. :P Anyway, I was just chillin' at Ludi, minding my own business. Just talking to my Guild fellows, and all of a sudden I get defamed. By someone I don't know or have spoken to. Then this person just disapears running away from my responce. Few weeks later: Mu Lung PQ comes out. I chill in the Mu Lung dojo forming my party. Another defamer comes along my road and runs away. My point: Why waste your fame on defaming someone you don't know? I didn't talk, didn't cuss, didn't have a fight with someone to get them to defame me. But she/he felt like defaming me any way. What's the point? It's not funny nor did it get me mad, it just got me curious. What is fame even for anyway? I honestly don't even care about it. Any related stories?

whats the purpose of fame anyway besides being able to wear equips?

MrDuckCx : What is fame even for anyway? To the best of my knowledge as of right now, all it's for is particular pieces of gear like the [insert color here] Starlight robes for Magicians for example.

I defamed a person with 20 fame once then their armor disappeared, I didn't know the person I just didn't it because I was bored.

Redefined : Are you sure you don't care about it? Yeah, I'm sure. :D I was just curious and wanted opinions or stories. I just find it wierd. o-o @IneerSakura: Maybe, just maybe. But I doubt they'd stalk me just to defame me once then run. That's pretty pathetic.
