What to do with my lucky scrolled Doombringer?

Well, I got a Doombringer (Lvl 70 sword) 88 att in the fm one day for 400k just cas it's always appeared as one of the sexiest swords to me 0.0 however, i got a 2h sword 10% sword from ayan's alligator quest and im like, ill mostly be using my 83 att jap map anyways so why not waste some scrolls on the Doombringer? So the scroll miraculously worked and it turned into a 93 att 3 str 6 slot DB. Then, another day, while discussing DPM in the warrior forums with Senyain and others, they're all like, nah, I shouldn't scroll my DB and just stick with the Jap Map as it is a Fast (4) and will easily outdmg anything under 104-105 att DB which I would have to perfectly 60% my DB to finish. So I'm like, screw the DB, I'll just go buy another 10% scroll from the FM's and throw it at the sword. And it worked...Now it's 98 att with 6 str and 5 slots. I wanted to ask you guys the value of this sword and whether I should finish it with 60%'s now...There is a huge possibility this sword could OutDPM my Jap Map now...Thanks everyone...

your off to a good start i wouldnt count on landing anymore 10% if your lucky try another 30% or you can 60 it and hope for 105+

You could try 1 30% and then finish it with 60%'s. Just don't use a 70% on the last slot, I keep seeing "Blew up my ___ on the last slot with a 70% FML" threads.

I wouldn't call it a "huge" possibility, unless you think 68.256% is a "huge" possibility (assumes 5x 60% scrolls). Don't listen to any of those others suggesting 30's. A 30% is more likely to break the item than it is to pass, and if the item survives it's still more likely to fail than pass. The fact that two 10%s in a row passed is already a fluke - that was a 1 in 100 probability. Even repeating the same thing after it broke with 30%s would still be only a 1 in 11 chance. I would recommend strongly against relying on a third fluke, especially given that even a 104 attack outcome (the median of 60% possibilities) is still way above average for a weapon as normally useless as DB. It still wouldn't compete with most Red Katanas in DPS, though. I suggest just selling it as it is - I'm sure someone out there would want to buy it for a project of their own.

If you 60% it, it's only a 21.6% chance that you will land 3/3 60%. If you go for 5 60% and only need 3 to work, the odds are about 60%.
