Ok, I'm getting really bored of typhons, and I don't feel like going to Leafre to traing on Newties. And when I looked at the training guide, I noticed that it said Night Shadows were a pretty good training location. So I come here asking if anyone has tried training there, and if so, what as the exp like? Thank You

I actually was wondering the same thing for my ranger, hes only 101, but after 20+ typhons levels I think I need a change.

I'd really have to say, typhons probably are better. 20%/hour+ @ lvl 105+ is pretty awesome.

I know the exp wouldn't be better than typhons, but I'm just looking for something different.

Aye, I'd like to go there too, at least try it out. The main problem I have is getting past the Crimson Guardians, they're deadly... Nightshadow's I'd think will be around the same exp as Typhons, not sure exactly. Also, I saw in another thread that the Nightshadow respawn time got nerfed, not sure if it's true or not, but it could be bad for training...

if you really wanna try something different, try crimson guards. it's decent EXP, barely any pot burn (like 10 cheeses an hour or so) and it's fun to see the people's faces when they see you traiing there. the only con is that you need 3.5k HP to survive touch damage, or know how to time your jumps so you don't get touched; and lots of holy waters (i use like 150-175 per hour) IMO, stay at typhons. i trained there till lvl 123. it's the best solo EXP you're gonna get at those levels. but if you get a newt party, don't hesitate to go

Spawn times were changed? where was this mentioned and is it just speculation or is there some actual proof from tests and such?

It's both using AR for a few hours to lvl. If he really is bored, i would suggest either sniping middle in newties solo, or doing that in a party. |

Starbomba : the only con is that you need 3.5k HP to survive touch damage That's the exact problem, we can't go till after 4th job at least, so it's not a viable training spot until later. linking : Spawn times were changed? where was this mentioned and is it just speculation or is there some actual proof from tests and such? All I've seen has been speculation so far. Idk why, could just be a crazy Basil rumor, but you never know with Nexon...

Nightshadows suck. Everything is better: Typhons, Newt solo and CGs. The spawn is kinda poor, it's impossible to gather huge mobs and they burn pots.

Crimson Guardians are pretty much standstill too, except when you have to go left to restart the spawn on the right. I went to the nightshadows in the keep and it was pretty fun. It's kind of a pot burn though, and the expereince was decent. Plus, going to crimson guardians at 106 probably isn't the best idea since he can't kill them very efficiently yet, unless he's really strong.

I mean, it's not like Typhons are a no-potting training place. |

Well i would still go to typons. I would Typon for 4 hours then newt for 4 hours. But in my opinion newts are only good if you party with a mage or someone who can kill at or faster than your speed. Sooooo. I guess since your in bellocan that would be me XD Message me if you want to train at newts.I train with my wife there so i dont mind added someone else to the party.

At your level, Typhons is going to be the best spot, theres no question about that. But since your bored of it, you can always head over to Aqua, not the best training but it's always fun to kill Gobies or Sharks for awhile

I personaly like soloing Newts... barely getting hit, etc... all you do is hold strafe/recast buffs/hawk... use mp pots... and move once in while since you can't attack more than 100 times on one spot... I like it since I can talk with buddies/guild... and also do something else like watch TV... etc...
