Dark Knight or Hero

Which character would be better at bossing, both solo and party: Dark knight or Hero? Do both classes pin bosses like Pap consistently? Which would be more effective at bosses like Bigfoot, Zakum, and Horntail?

DrK can BF better. I killed one in 17 minutes today, solo. (no Apple) Both classes can pin Pap consistently, but Heroes can do it earlier because early 4th Job DrK needs Zerk to pin it. You can always use rush, so it won't be a problem. Heroes will do more damage in Zakum and HT, DrKs will be needed in Zakum and HT parties for HB.

Drks are hard to train lower levels because we don't get a damage boost until our zerk is at least level 20, in which case it's hard to maintain the zerk trigger at places like skeles or newties. Hero's and Drk's have the same DPS (just about) with zerk 30, however hero's are faster and can use their full hp. Drk's HB is vital for nearly any boss, as is a hero's DPS.

Which job what be easier to play on a laggy computer? I'm not too keen on Berzerk, so how effective are Dark knights without Zerk in bosses and training? Should I just choose a Hero if I lag a lot, even though they dont have HB. =x

Batman, he's a dark knight and a hero 8D @HokKam, I'm 137 and I killed BF in 9 minutes. That's nearly half your time in 4 levels higher. It doesn't matter what class you are, it's your equips and your skill in attacking BF using stance + timing.
