Abortion free in USA?

Few days ago I read a thread called "Pregnant". It was about someone friend got abused and was crying. Lot of the replies in the thread was mentioning the "Abortion". It got me thinking is abortion free? Where I live (Canada) Abortion is free in most of the Provinces and Territories. (Only one province wont do it, two province will only do it due to ra.pe) So is it free in USA or is it government funded? Is it even in the law to have abortion or not? If it not funded how much is it? Also if it is not, when you guys get that new health thing DC is working on, will it be free then?

It depends on the type of abortion, and how far along the girl is. It can range from hundreds of dollars to up to a thousand dollars.

Ever since Roe v. Wade, abortions up to the first trimester are legal under the federal constitution. However there was no obligation of hospitals to perform abortions at their respective clinics. I believe Obama's recent legislation changed this however.

I would have to say no. We don't have free health care in the U.S.
