After maxing Triple Fire, how should I distribute my SP if I want to Goby as soon as possible? Right now I have 17 Burst Fire, 1 Flamethrower and 1 Ice Splitter @ Lv.76.

If you really want to Goby (o.0), after Burst, 26 ice, then max flame.

You know, I don't think you even need flamethrower to go kill some gobies. Whenever I fight them, I just Freeze, then Pick em off with Burst. After 4 bursts just freeze em' again. I use way less pots than I would if I used Flame, and I think I actually kill them faster.

Gobies suck imo, but if you do want to use it max burst, get 26 ice, get max fire.

I love Gobying on my DrK, do they suck for Outlaws? I'm getting an impression that they suck. I don't really want to Snipe at Newties for a lot of levels, what other places can I train at late 7x and early 8x? I'm getting tired of WR, although the EXP is still pretty good. 30%/hour.

All you need is a 6-target hitting Flamethrower and Ice Splitter. Blaze Capsules are optional but I sure recommend using those because they increase the afterburn damage by alot. Which is important there. Glaze Capsules are a must however. Ice Splitter is going to be your main damaging attack because Gobys are strong to fire. Don't worry about maxing Flamethrower before you go there, you just need to be able to un-freeze the Gobys after using Ice Splitter on them. A level 1+ Gaviota can also be helpfull in some cases. Just be carefull when you summon it, you don't want it hitting houses or a Bone Fish that can reach you. Try to set things up so your Gaviota has no choice but to target the Goby mob right after you kill a house. So summon it just before the house dies, and only when nothing else is around. You can click on my basilID to see a video of me training there, but I was lagging like crazy when I made that. So normally, you won't or hardly get hit at all. EDIT: At above, No, just no... If you want to train at the gobys, freezing them and 'floating down' with them is going to cost alot of time, and you might hit other monsters who are standing in the way. Gobys suck without Flamethrower.

I sure as heck don't see why Flame is absolutely necessary. You're not going to have a 6-hitting Flame until at the very least level 93. Until then are you not supposed to train at Gobies? FireCristal : You can't ''Float down'' like a ''Jump down''. I'm not sure what you mean by that. You can do a jump down on the Platforms. Anyways, freezing the Gobies and taking them out with Burst works for me. I like it, and I suggest other Outlaws to try it.

Sure the damage isn't that much because they are stong to fire, but the damage sure adds up. I trained on gobys for several levels after 100. After testing all places gobys gave me the best exp per hour. Guess what? I even recommend C-2 as a level 90-110 training spot if you maxed Flamethrower, got 26 Ice Splitter, got both kinds of capsules and need money. At level 100 I was getting just over 9% an hour there. The potion usage is low, and the drops add up money like crazy.

Don't get me wrong, I love flamethrower. I definitely don't hate it or anything. It's great for training in some spots (like C-2). It's just I prefer not to use it at Gobies. Maybe I don't have enough range to be able to KB them with fire, but it seems like using it makes my pot costs go up, up, up.

...how the heck do you manage not to knockback them with a maxed Flamethrower? The knockback damage is only 500. Also it's pretty easy to get the timing down and not get hit at all there. I trained a few hours with just 150 potions at level 10x.

It was a pain, the stupid bone fish kept mobbing, and its a pain getting rid of them >.> and c-2 a money place? wouldn't homoculus be better? But you can solve that by using Blank Shot and finishing them off one-by-one. More spawn in C-2, and you should be able to kill them with just one Flamethrower and Ice Splitter. Never tried those Sites to be honest because I only recently found that map lol.
