Don't miss Learn the ridiculousness of combat arms. You can't look down the iron sights of guns, which practically halves the strategic value of the game. With high end explosives like a LAW aim at their feet for greater accuracy than the body. Get the correct sensitivity and learn that in combat arms you take insanely ridiculous damage, where as games like Call of Duty HAVE downsight on all guns and have a 2-4 hit kill in multiplayer and a 1-2 hit in HARDCORE as it should be

When I played Combat Arms on my laptop, I had to use the touchpad. Didn't have a mouse for it

guns completely depend on the player. everyone uses the G36 so if you use it, i`ll hate you. try out the AK 47 [nerfed recently :/] or the UMP. as for shotguns, try the equivalent of the Mariners. it`s not used as often as the military one but i liked it better. sniper rifles .. uhm .. everyone uses the L96. try the M24 if you want a challenge or the dragunov. best exp .. i`d say S&D almost any map, but warhead is the most common. the best place to train your reflexes is to constantly play OMA in junk flea, with preferably 8 people max. use the UMP & another secondary weapon.

Play something harder first, then you will get better at easy games such as Combat Arms.

Don't aim where the person is. Aim where the person's going. *shrugs*

Everytime someone kills you, spam NOOB HACKER AIM BOT CHAMMER. This will distract them and make them loose concentration.

experience is all you need my first FPS that i played was CS, and i still do play CS [not as often] CS is like second nature to me..so when i tried out other FPSs, it was a breeze anyways, i have no clue..seeing as how i only played Combat Arms for about 15 minutes, got bored, and uninstalled it

A mode that gives great Ex/Gp is Spy Hunt. A good gun would be whatever you like the most, after trying all you can use.

You could pick up regular guns players drop, and when you find one you like - buy it and use it. I recommend extended clip + scope. Don't bother with armor till you're comfortable with the game, I guess, otherwise it's a waste of money. You'll want to play CTF for quick cash, too - add me (surmataa) and I might play a few CTF rounds with you sometime. Oh and - ignore the losers who say crouching is for noobs(or whatever it is they say you're a noob for, they always find something) - remember, play however is best for you and ignore the other kids. And aim for the neck. 3-4 shot bursts work best, practice them, spraying is a pain and you need to lose it.
