No Quoting Bad Posts

To my understanding, we are not allowed to quote things people say if they are offensive. For example, if someone insult you, you do not fight back, you go rat on them. You report them. So tell me mods, there are a lot of young kids on this forum, you want them to think that when someone is in your face, and insulting you, you back down and run to your mommy or daddy? (In this case a mod.) No. I would rather have it, someone insults you, you stand your ground. Defend yourself. Quoting them (letting them know your talking to THEM) and returning your own insult is bad? Even if you're defending yourself? Sorry, but anyone who reports someone while in an argument is nothing but a coward in my books. Still waiting for a mod to explain. Or lock the thread... (Coward way out).

Its bad because in the internet, you can be anonymous and do pretty much anything, I could threaten you to death and harass you. But in real life its much different.
