| so i want to scrol a shoe for speed but idk if i should scroll rss or whitebottoms. whitebottoms give 3 speed avg and have 5 slots. but rss have 7 slots, so idk which i would scroll for speed. so which one should i scroll? im planning on trying to land 2 30% on the first 2 slots and then finish it off with 60%'s btw |

| The RSS has more potential. The White bottoms is basically hitting a 30% on an RSS then failing the other slot. It's just guarenteed to have 3 speed on it. Do what Senyain ( or probably someone else suggested this. ) but try hit 2 30%'s shoe for DEX on the first 2 slots of an RSS. Brings you to 6 accuracy 10 avoid, 2 speed. Then 60% the rest of the slots. On average, you should get at least 3 to work, if you're lucky you might get all 5 to work. Voila, 6 accuracy 8~12 speed shoes. Another suggestion is that you can 'make' your shoe with the maker skill. Get an intern/adv amethyst and boom. 5 Speed 5 slot shoes, with str/acc/dex as a bonus. |

If he's normal DEX, he won't need the accuracy. If he's going for pure speed, I agree that Red Snowshoes are the better option. Not only could you potentially scroll it better (even with all 60%s), but it has the added advantage of not being able to slip on ice (and from what I've noticed, sometimes other surfaces). |

That last statement made me curious. What other surfaces? |

 | use the maker skill and get an adv amethyst and str on it its much better and just 60% but if your not into that i would say white bottom cause when u resell it will be worth more |

 | Another idea, if you've lots of cash, is to get +1 or +2 with 30% for jump before starting the speed scrolling. That way your shoe is adding both jump and speed, and if you have either a speed bottom or speed cape it's helpful. In terms of pure self-scrolling for speed the whitebottoms have a slightly better expected outcome. The RSS have 2 more slots which is an expected pass rate of 1.2 60% scrolls (2.4 speed points) average gain over the whitebottoms, but since they have 3 speed clean they beat that. RSS is if you're willing to take the 36% chance that both of the excess 60% scrolls will pass. |

 | Whitebottoms over RSS any day. Cheap to buy and easier to rescroll a 6+ speed shoe. It also comes in sexy pink. wooo *thrust* |
