The plot of the show " Avatar the last Airbender centers around a young boy ( i cant remember his name but it begins with an A) in his journey to travel the world and master the elements. Mastering these elements invloves a fight of some sort with the master of thier respective styles. The boy is not alone in his journey however, he is joined by a girl who specializes in the water element, and a youth who while putting on a show of being mature, tends to fall easily for women, along with his fuzzy animal companions. The journey is not without challenges however, as the group travels the world they often find themselves in the middle of a citys conflict, and need to find a peaceful solution to the conflict before continuing on thier way. In addition to that there is a organization who is constantly attemping to capture them that also has plans for world domination. To conquer the challenges in front of him, the boy must learn vaulable lessons of trust and friendship, and can always depend on his friends to help him if it is needed. Sound familiar to anyone?

...Naah. I can understand where you're coming from. But, most shows like that have the main character having two friends. It's just a coincidence.

Avatar's plot is straight down to the core and not like Pokemon with the same boring plot in every single episode. Don't get me started with Pokemon movies.

I love Avatar. I've seen like ever episode. He defeated the orginization and saved the world. After over a decade Ash is still an unknown kid. Even after beating E4 and saving the world countless times...

Avatar draws you in to the story. Plus they scramble the episodes but it's okay because you can still easily understand what's happening clearly. Each episode is kinda like a new story except the last episodes. They made a very good series with only about 60 episodes. Pokemon just comes out with more and more Pokemons. (Games r K)

dude they are totaly different 1) avatar is so much funnier and its not ALWAYS go in a city beat gym, beat team rocket, brock falls in love with nurse joy, were blasting off again -_- first few seasons of pokemon were amazing but wats up with the crappy pokemon now, so garbage 2) avatar only has 60 episode not 9001 3) avatar has alot more action and its simply a better show, plus i cant w8 for the movie next year

Yeah, at least in Avatar, they're trying to get rid of the Fire Lord or whatever, with Ang learning and getting better. Pokemon was alright at first, but when they came out with like the 3rd season and everything, it got so boring. This is what happens in each episode : Meet new people[s], team rocket arrives, beat teamrocket, finish helping out the person[s] they met or beat them at a gym battle or whatever. Every single episode.
