Weird folders in my v74 folder? &base.wz corrupt

| Okay I haven't been around for a while, and I installed v74 a few days back. Then I used the normal autopatch to go from v74 to 75. Yesterday it was working all fine, but then today when I tried to click the shortcut on my desktop, it said it couldn't find the file it was connected to o-O" And so I did the repair button on the patcher thing (and then realized that it was the v74 one) and I let it autopatch; then I got the base.wz corrupt error thing. (While I'm at it, does anyone know how to fix it?) Then, I downloaded the v75 manual patch and now it's just stuck at base.wz. Anyways; then I went to my v74 folder and checked for any weird things. I don't if they were there before, but they'er just empty folders.. does anyone else have these following empty folders in their v74/75 folders? dgpuxzwg.$$$ fnfjpjts.$$$ nucrkzck.$$$ nfojydhw.$$$ iajtztrd.$$$ What the heck is a .$$$ file anyways? ._. P.S - Since I haven't been around for a really long time, I also saw something like "ASPLnchr.exe". Since when was that out? o-o" Haven't been playing since ages ago =P |

| I have a .$$$ file in my folder too. Ive been playing normally and have had no problems. Not sure what it does though :. |

| i have no idea what the folders in your nexon folder are, but you should uninstall maple from your computer before you try to redownload. ive had this problem before, where some files were corrupted, so i uninstalled maple and redownloaded and it worked fine. try that. |

| Oh okay i'll try reinstalling now.. you mean just deleting everything in my v74 folder or using the add/remove thing and uninstall? (if there is one; can't remember lols). Btw I was downloading a manual patch and then suddenly 2 more of those .$$$ folders came out o_o nfojydhw.$$$ iajtztrd.$$$ Lols xD |

| .$$$ are temporary files. You can delete them and maple will still work. No need to re-install. |

| What do you mean? I should delete the $$$ files and it wont be stuck at base.wz? Or did you think that I meant that I was reinstalling because of the $$$ files ? :O |

| Yes, delete them. It's just junk data from the unfinished/interrupted patch. ASPLnchr.exe is the HackShield updater. |

| It's a failed patch. I've failed like 10 million times. Delete them for the sake of boredom, won't affect anything. If you look inside theyre all .tmp files. |
