Please do comment once you're done reading, I'm currently looking for new stratagies (I'm writing this here because not all read all the way through to the bottom) So as we all know CPQ came out yesterday, after a long wait for the patch to end, I've had the pleasure to do 34 Battles, winning 19 times lossing 12 times and forefiting 3 times and I gained 40 coins. WTH's CPQ 2? CPQ 2 is a new PQ that's for levels 51-70, Cygnus CAN participate in it unlike other PQ(s) such as Elin PQ, in this PQ you battle against another team to win you have to use the combo of good killing and good summoning skills. Let's start CPQ2 is accessed accessed through Spiegelmann the same NPC that directed you to CPQ 1 altough you can acces CPQ2 only from ludibrum, orbiss and singapore. Once you're at Spiegelmann's new office you can change your channel to channel 1 where most people group to find new parties / recruit and or find opponents. Let's say you want to make a party, a party of 3 people, you add 2 other people of which class, sub-class and or level you choose (It's recomended that if you are a mage you get physical players like thieves, bowmen, warriors and pirates and Vice-versa) after you got your party you need to get opponents. There are 2 ways of getting opponents: First way is to spam "L> x (number of players in the party) opponents" Second way is just to go inside one of the rooms and wait for the opponnents to come (Doesn't work as good as in CPQ1) Rooms To make a new room of your own you click Spiegelmann, then click "I want to begin 2nd Monster Carnival" then click "Open carnival Field x(1-3)" To JOIN a room already inhabitant by another party click Spiegelmann then click "Enter Carnival Field x(1-3)" Entering rooms can be rather irritating and complecated, unlike CPQ1 in CPQ2: • You don't see the name of the leader inside the room. • You don't see the avarage level of the party. • You don't even KNOW if there's anyone in the room! You have to click "Enter carnival field X (Number of the room)" to check. • When a party enters a room that has another team in it already the party leader of the room doesn't get a invitation asking if he accepts or declines the other party entering the room just enters. Room 1 and 3 are alike only room 3 can contain 3-6 people while room 1 can contain 2-4 people, room 2 is the diffrent room. Monsters Monsters are either summoned or already there from the begining. Summoned monster can only be damaged and get killed by the team which DIDN'T summon the monster. The list of monsters and how much EXP/Cp each one gives: Buffy - 1 EXP / 1 CP (Costs 7 CP to summon) Soul Teddy - 2 EXP / 2 CP (Costs 7 CP to summon) Lazy Buffy - 3 EXP / 3 CP (Costs 8 CP to summon) Master Soul Teddy - 4 EXP / 4 CP (Costs 8 CP to summon) Klock - 5 EXP / 5 CP (Costs 9 CP to summon) Buffon - 6 EXP / 6 CP (Costs 9 CP to summon) Deep Buffon - 7 EXP / 7 CP (Costs 10 CP to summon) Ghost Pirate - 8 EXP / 8 CP (Costs 11 CP to summon) Death Teddy - 9 EXP / 9

Yeah, a good read indeed. My regards young lady*. A sticky is being deserved here. However, more organization would help. Would you like me to reformatt it?

by the way, the same goes for CPQ1: magic up and guard up's buffs are switched. pressing magic up gives the monsters the guard up buff and vice versa. even look at the symbols when summoned. the shield is supposed to be a guard up symbol. we even tested it in cpq 1 and 2. with "guard up" on a master chrono, it did more magic damage and with the "magic up" the master chrono did the same dmg. we tested it for a viking too

Funny how it gives less exp then CPQ1 for A rank when you lose.

Hmmm. I think a good strategy would be to have one person summon protectors while you use weakness party on them. that way they cannot jump on the ladders to hit the protectos. Stun can also work well on this. But be careful cuz they might have a party all cure. Also when you play against mages you could use cancel buff on them and most of the time they wont know because they will be too busy fighting. so their magic guard will disappear and they will probably die after a couple of hits. Oh and really hope this gets stickied :D Good Job so far edit:@benjaminlu-yup i know stun isnt cured by all cures. thats why its good to use it along with protectors.

Very nice guide Here's a tip, Summon lots of Buffys and use Speed and Avo on em. They'll take any hits the tougher monsters would have taken and when killed give a measly 1 CP.

@imtoolazy: Yep, it's pretty lame. >_<" The losing exp is way too low.. it should be like around 15-30k imo ._. @disbechea: Just to tell you; stun isn't cured by party all cure (as stated by the ts)
