I'm getting some mixed answers on what I should do. Some people tell me Shadow Shifter and others say Maple Warrior. I was thinking of getting Shadow Shifter to 10 and leaving it there for awhile because the mastery book is expensive and I'm too scared to fail it. I wanted to get SS to 10, since it's a 20% chance of avoiding an attack, which I think is pretty nice. After that, I wanted to dump a point into Smoke Screen for fun and then max Assassinate. Can anyone let me know if this is a good build? If not, could you suggest another one?

Depends who you train with if ur traning party has MW no need for it, keep it at 9 if you end up adding into it untill you get the 20 book, Id put 1 point into smoke screen for fun then Get up Shifter to reduce traning costs, get 1 taunt also, adds huge exp bonus, After you get 1 taunt and 2 Smokescreen, if u want do MW to 9 then shifter to 10 aswell, or you could even do like 2 MW 1 shifter as it goes along, untill you have desiered shifter/mw then go for assanate becasue its super fun bossing with it after that its really just what you feel like maxing, also keep in midn you have Poison wich could come in handy geting a few mroe points into it for traning.

I usually train solo. Would 9 MW be better instead of 10 Shadow Shifter?

Do you have anything in Venom? Get 1 point in Venom, 1 point in SmokeSceen, then Shadow Shift to 10, MW to 9, and then Max Assassinate. BTW my Main is a LVL 148 Shadower in Broa.

Skills have different importances and different prices. MW is probably the next most beneficial to your training. Assassinate is most beneficial for bossing. Many people are under the impression that lvl 1 taunt is so great. Honestly, it takes too long to cast that the 11% i don't find to be worth it at level 1. I've heard the level where it becomes beneficial is 20 something. Definately put one in smokescreen.

I'm holding out on Smokescreen for now, since I don't have steel and I'm too cheap to buy any. @__@ So I should start sticking points in MW? :o

If I were you, I'd get either 10 Fake or 9 MW next. Order is up to you, but I personally got 10 Fake first, and I'm glad I did. (Although I have 9 MW too now)
