Did MS rip off an anime?

After playing a and making a new Cygnus knight, I started to wonder if MS ripped of that 1980/1990s anime called Saint Seiya? I mean there's a crap load of similarities... In the anime it's pretty much 5 Saints protecting a princess, so she can defeat some dark wizard. And there's 5 classes, protecting that NPC... idk I might be freaking out...

I dunno. I wouldn't put it past Wizet to 'borrow' from here and there. You can find eerie similarities to things everywhere in MapleStory.

I think Cygnus knights were "borrow" from that anime, but not the whole maplestory game though.

Maplestory pretty well has things from MANY different animes. They mimic plenty of different things, in general. You don't even have to look very hard. Go to Omega Sector and tell me those aren't supposed to be power ranger rip offs.

Don't forget that Saint Seiya uses constellations, and 'Cygnus' is a constellation if I remember correctly. ... Either way, there's bound to be lots of similarities between things. It's hard to be original without there being something like it before.

Not originally from Naruto Immortal mask- Also used in japanese stories, Shutter Shades- They have those in real life, and I've even seen those in stores. Meso rangers- Isn't it always a kids dream to use a giant robot in a flashy, colorful tight suit? Wild west hair- It's hair for Pete's sake.
