Why Nexon needs to make things simpler.

Well yesterday I DL a pre-patcher. So I wait, wait and waited. the got bored gave up and know it would be up by Morning. So I wake up today at 6:30 AM and went to the computer hoping to fix my MS. So I press play, Hackshield error, so ok, i go to Nexon home page and did what the advise did. Didn't help. made things worse. So I deleted everything in my MS folder then. Redownloaded and in the middles of redownloading, my internet went from 1337 KBps (yes leet Kbps) to 0. and then it said problems with my firewall and virus protection. So I try to open my virus protection program (won't say names for criticism purposes), so it wasn't working. So turned off computer and reboted. I finished the Dl for MS and then finally after 3 hours and 14 minutes, MS works then one last problem. Click Play, hackshield pops up. The Screen goes blacks and then MS shuts down with one final error. error code : -2147xxxxxxx that annoying one. Guys I'm tired and give up trying to mess with it. All I want is this answer. My brain is almost dead to fixing this. and I don't have the capacity to find out how to fix it. So Basil techs help.

it's because you used the pre-patcher. the server was delayed for 12 hours. during that time, they might have added new things into the game and thus, your files don't match.

This is why I don't do pre-patchers. Who knows what could go wrong. OT: I don't think you can just delete Maplestory. You need to uninstall it and then redownload it.

I got rid of the pre patcher I deleted everything from the MS folder so it went away so I redled it and I'm stuck at the last error, I made it through the over hours of enduring work and I can't fix this one now. So pre patcher is not the problem it works btu can't make it past 1 second in the black screen to literally play the game @the troll If you don't help, leave.

The pre-patcher wasn't the problem. I pre-patched at least 7 or 8 hours before Maple opened and it worked perfectly fine for me. And I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but, 1, I don't see how Nexon needs to make things simpler, this sounds like your own problem, and 2, you really gave very little information for any of us to work with.

And I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but, 1, I don't see how Nexon needs to make things simpler, this sounds like your own problem, and 2, you really gave very little information for any of us to work with. Just to let you know, it very isn't a good idea to patch early, since a lot of people done it during the a CWK extension and Mini-Dungeon patch, and they were getting auto-ban every time they go into such maps, and this was due to smaller .wz files. As for the TS, instead of just giving us some of the error code (-2147xxxxxxx), sometimes it will help people A LOT more if you would have put the whole thing. Anyways, if I'm thinking of the same error, it seems to be your graphic driver. May I asked, if you reformatted recently? I'm tired and not giving about smart asses like you now Just to let you know, the reason why you only got 4 hours of sleep is your fault, as you choose to stay up and attempted to fix it yourself. You should have just given up on it and go to sleep. Plus, at least you got sleep. lol
