Too Much Dex?

So I hear everyone say about how they regret getting 30 or 40 dex. I have base dex of 70. Is this a major problem?

it isnt a MAJOR problem, its a small issue that you are a spearman, if you were a fighter/page we'd say to use a ST endgame. simply the best way to go about this is to try your best to use str equips, i.e. overall

Nope, not at all. Although if you're greatly funded you should've probably kept it at 40. Try to get str equips instead of dex, and make your dex to stack to 100 or so. Good luck =)

lol my base dex is 79 but I use a 20str overall, attack gloves, and other str equips and i'm doing fine

I used to have a base dex of 110. If I hadn't hit a wall in equips I could have gotten at the time I probably never woulda reset it, tbh. Rather than a str overall, you could easily use the Item Maker to forge a black neos, with a high level Power Crystal (I believe you can turn one out at 9 str clean if it works properly) and get matching pants scrolled for speed/dex. You can also use power crystals to forge pants and add a bit more strength to them. Beyond that, aim for higher attack weapons than you normally would settle for, and try to get a high attack glove (personally i'm using a 10 attack korben. imo, class gloves > wg, for warriors, in similar cases.) Beyond that, you could always try to MTS merchant and reset when you can. But always try to keep your dex at a multiplier of 5 or 10, otherwise you waste accuracy.

70 DEX isn't a problem at all. I'm probably going to cap my DW at 60 Base, but 10 DEX extra is no big deal.

your fine im base 80 and nothings wrong technically you should only have low dex if your funded enough to afford those pricey dex equips/scrolls

It's fine, there's nothing wrong with having a high-ish dex. As long as you're not a damage whore. ;D

It really depends how much of a damage whore you are, I got my sader to lvl75 just absolutely fine with 85 Dex. I didn't have to worry about Dex equips at all meaning I could buy a godly sword instead, plus when I do use a basic dex overall + sniper pill I could hit monsters much stronger than myself Btw, I quit my sader and started a dexless Dawnwarrior

I'd say you are fine, but personally I would never add DEX until I have hit the AP cap with STR. I even regret having 10 base DEX now, to be honest, I got like 183 accuracy on my Paladin with level 10 blessing, I've been trying to switch to top + bottom for a while now, but just can't find the right set. I'll use maker to make one eventually, I guess... eventually. I got around 155 accuracy with a clean Lucida set, so the DEX bottom can be neglected for a while. >_< Honestly, once you are a high enough level, accuracy comes pretty easily.

Nope. High Dex is not a problem at all. I have 80 Base Dex, and seriously, I absolutely love it. You'll always be happy with high dex. I once saw a lvl 4x trying to hit Straw Dummies. I could hit them at her lvl, but she kept MISSING alot. And when she didn't, she did like 50 to 120 damage. This obviously might not prove much but it made me appreciate my Dex. BTW, she had a good lvl 40 sword and had all the right equips for her lvl.

i remember when having 100 dex was fine for a warrior.. now everyone is low dex .. 70 is perfectly fine :D
