ICED BASILMARKET DESIGN CONTEST! IMPORTANT FOR CONTESTANTS! IMPORTANT FOR CONTESTANTS! IMPORTANT FOR CONTESTANTS! I have updated and included the rules and the scoring system. Please read them. IMPORTANT FOR CONTESTANTS! IMPORTANT FOR CONTESTANTS! IMPORTANT FOR CONTESTANTS! CONTEST SYSTEM My contest uses the tally point system unlike the elimination system you usually see in BasilMarket�s Next Top Mapler. -You will receive points each round. -The amount of points you will receive each round, will be based on the scores the judges will give you based on your performance on that round. -The judges� critique will be PM�ed to you personally. -Each round will have a specific set of rules for you to follow in creating your outfit. -I will give you the criteria set for each round, so you�ll know what to go for. -There are only five design rounds and one public voting round (so your fans can vote for you!). -All your points will be tallied at the end of the whole contest. -The person with the most points win! SCORING SYSTEM Each design round consists of 60 points. (20 points from each of the three judges) With five design rounds in this contest, this totals to 300 points. The public voting round consists of 100 points. The first runner up in public voting gets a whole 100 points. The second runner up in public voting gets 75 points. The third runner up in public voting gets 50 points. The rest gets 30 points each. Combining the total points from the five design rounds and the public voting round, this totals to 400 points in the contest overall. THE RULES There are two different types of rules in my contest. The first are the General rules , which will be enforced throughout the whole contest. The second are the Specific/Additional rules , which will be enforced just for the round those rules are bound to. Specific/additional rules and the consequences for breaking them will be written under its certain round. GENERAL RULES These are the rules that are expected to be followed throughout the whole contest. (2 points will be deducted from your total overall score at the end of the contest for every offense) 1. No modifying your characters and outfits in anyway with any sort of image-editing program (ex. custom hair, changing certain clothing�s original colour through photoshop or GIMP) 2. No putting your character in any other different poses than the default standing stance. I will re-create your character in BannedStory and place it in the default standing stance if you don�t follow this rule. 3. You MUST submit your entry for each round to me by PM. You will have to re-do your entry if you don't. 4. You can�t ask for critiques or have others rate your entry, before the judges do. Again, you will have to re-do your entry if you break this rule. 5. You can't show your entry to other contestants or any other people, until the round is over and you have received your scores and critiques from the judges. I have to drop out. I'm so sorry to do this on such short notice, especially since the contest has already started, but I can't help it. My computer shut down on me last night and it's not working, and I have absolutely no idea when it'll be fixed, so there's no way for me to participate.
