What is this altered EXP curve?

I haven't been playing until like 5 days ago, took a long long break. Anyway I just saw in one of these other threads that apparently there is was an alteration to the EXP curve, I assume while I was away. When did this happen, and how did this change exp growth? Is it simply easier to hit 200 now?

In the Exp Explosion they implied from levels 10-30 monsters give 50% more exp and give 25% more exp from 30-200, the percentage is the same as these statistics but you need less exp not the monsters give more. It comes out to needing 66.7% as much exp as u used to from 10-30 and 5/6th the amount of Exp from 30-200. I don't use NX or 2x or anything and I remember my first lvl30 took sooooooooooooooo long, now it takes 7 or so hours for me, 5.75 hrs w/ cygnus (1x exp just questing, grinding and sometimes pqing).
