pinning bf as a nl

Kay, here's how it went down. I was at Forgotten Path and I remembered my friend saying something about if you use a Garnier or a Pink Flower Tube without booster, you could pin BF. Well, seeing as I didn't have either of those atm and didn't want to lose the BF by going back to Kerning, I tried something out. So, I canceled Claw Booster and put L7 to a key and waited for BF to go up against a wall (not really touching the wall and facing me). Then I tried it out and magically, it was pinned. As of now, I don't have a video or screenies to prove this, but any NL could test this out and get some evidence. The claw I was using at the time was a Casters (Fast(4)) so I'm not sure it'll work definitely with another claw. The only problem to this is re-buffing. If you stop holding onto the key (L7), it gets unpinned and gains its invincibility frames. :/ But, you can DS, exit the map, re-buff and go in again, repinning for about 3 minutes (SP) and then repeating the process. If this could work for TT with different claw, that would be EPIC! Don't really know what section this belongs in, if it belongs in "Thief", I'll post it there. Good luck if anyone attempts! :D EDIT: I'm sorry about the misconception everyone's getting. The BF never faced the wall. This was my post in reply to someone else's on page 2. "Not like that. ____x________BF_____l That's the basic path. "x" is me. "BF" is BF, it's facing me. "l" is the wall. I attack and continuously hold onto the L7 key and it gets pushed (while still facing me), to the wall. It wasn't walking into it in anyway."

Well, thing is, any class can pin BF in forbidden path so long as it is walking towards the wall... and by wall I mean the little ledge that appears right after each ramp preceding from the middle. EDIT: but to do that you either have to time the invincibility frames of force BF to walk into the wall.

Also, you dont even have a nl in ur player list. i think that if u did have 1, wouldnt it be better to put ur id as a nl instead of a dw? how coincidential

Try to do it anywhere besides forbidden path. Its the easiest map to do it at.

Sounds like a glitch to me if you can only pin it when it's already at the wall.

I can pin a BF at Forgotten for 3 minutes at a time but then again I like moving around. :/

darkdragon92 : Also, you dont even have a nl in ur player list. i think that if u did have 1, wouldnt it be better to put ur id as a nl instead of a dw? how coincidential that is totally wrong, you don't always need to have your highest lvl char as your main, however to be on topic, any class can pin bf if it's walking towards the wall.
