I just came home today after hanging out all evening with my girlfriend. I walked through the door seeing my dad looking strained and embarassed. My mum makes some random excuse and go out the back. Dad: Hey kid, i need to talk to you. Me: Ok..whats up? -sits down- Dad: Umm..I don't know how to say this.. Me: What is it dad? Dad: Well your spending a lot of time with kylie lately.. -pause- Dad: .. and i just want you to be safe and responsible. Me: i dont get you dad.. Dad: well, uhh ... you see . Have you done anything? As in physically with - Me: DAD ! Are you trying to give me the sex talk? Dad: kev, i just want you to be safe. Me: you think i had sex with kylie? Dad: well you've been spending lots of time with her.. Me: Dad, i know already. You don't need to tell me. Dad: But - Me: I can't believe your making me say this, but im a virgin.. -awkward silence- Me:... and im not planning to change that. Dad: well be safe .. and here. Your mot- i mean. you ... just.. he didnt finish the sentence , he just took a condom out and gave it to me. Dad: ...just be safe. And he walked off. Weird conversation. Boy that was awkward. Have you had the sex talk yet? Share it. Was it awkward?

VMIT : I figured most of it myself also we had sex ed in school twice when do they do that? :o like what age. or tell me what age you are in which grade. (id rather you tell me the second option, its nice to know. XD)

im 20 years old, and ive never had that conversation with my mother, or "step-father." i found out most of those things on my own in my own pace. though, not exactly interested in sex either, so it balances out.
