Best decade for cartoons?

Whenever people bring up cartoons, they always mention how the current generation of cartoons suck, and that the best were the ones they watched while they were growing up. Which decade do you think had the best cartoons?

90's all the way and some 80's like a mix of 80's and 90's screw from 00's to 2009 they all suck!

i really like the 1999-2005 years for shows shows like pokemon, dbz,yugioh,beyblade,digimon,and hundreds of other shows now there crap like bakugan -_- i used to love ytv as a kid now its just pure RUBBISH ! yes rubbish and im not even british !

The 90's had some awesome shows, but I also enjoyed 80's Transformers. Also, Pokemon is an Anime, not an american cartoon.

I like some 80s (Thunder Cats, Super friends, Transformers, Tom&Jerry, Acme Hour) Mostly 90s though (Beast Wars, Pokemon[1st season], CatDog, Ren&Stimpy,Dexters Lab, Courage the cowardly dog, Johnny Bravo, Yu-gi-oh[1st], Doug, Toonami, GOOD saturday morning cartoons, etc..) and a selected few from the 21st century (Justice League, Teen Titans, Avatar, etc..)
