If you think about it this way it looks kinda stupid. Its like paying people in order to scare you. I just realized this after I suggested a movie to my friends.

Horror movies are hardly scary as they are entertaining to me. Suspense movies are usually the ones that might scare me.

Horror films entertain me. Like a comedy would entertain someone else. They'd pay someone to make them laugh, so why not scare? ixaxtav : Would you like to live your whole life scared? I don't get your point. How does watching a horror movie for a few hours equate to being scared all my life? I don't think you understand the the thrill we get from horror films. It's like getting on a roller coaster. Who would want to experience being on one for their entire life? But it's fun to be on one for a couple minutes, just for the thrill. Like most things.
