Hi, my parents believe maplestory is a waste of time, and they ordered me to uninstall it. They are smart enough to the point that they know how to search "by name" for a file. They ALSO know about the "hidden files and folders" option in the Tools menu. I hav tried renaming maplestory.exe to something random but that doesnt work out (it used to) Any way to hide it?

Tainysi : Right click maplestory icon and press properties,where under the tab that says "short cut" it should say change icon where it says browse copy and paste this in %SystemRoot%system32SHELL32.dll It'll show you a bunch of simple icons that won't look like maplestory change the name of it to something and there you go do the same for the folder Dude that was amazing... I don't really need it because I don't play that much anymore and I don't live with my parents anymore haha...but I know that could help a lot of these basilers.

you can put it on a flash drive or change nexon/maplestory folder's name, create a shortcut to maplestory.exe and change the shortcut image to something else, and change the name of maplestory.exe, and voila!
