Is this Irony? Please help me!

Hey guys, haven't used the word much but would this be considered as irony? So I am analyzing a poem on the immortality of ideals and how they cannot simply be destroyed. The poet lists a bunch of organizations which could be "let loose" on unique ideals (The poet is speaking metaphorically here; making ideals humans). However, rather than just listing corporations which have great military power and such, every single one he lists were corrupt and unlawfully suppressed ideals which conflicted with the status quo. Is this considered as irony? Thanks so much for any help; much appreciated!

Poem based on how ideals cannot be destroyed. In an attempt to reveal this, he lists a bunch of organizations which attempted to destroy any ideals which conflicted with the status quo/popular belief. I hope this helped lol :X.

I don't think so. Irony is more like hipocricy, well i think it is. You don't like being insulted but, you insult other people all the time. That would be ironic.
