I don't know what's wrong with me. I keep missing links and buttons and all sorts of things I want to click. I missed the New Thread button a few times in trying to create this thread. Help.

Use reverse psychology. Tell your computer you don't want it to click the link. Then, it will probably click the link to be rebellious. It always works for me.

Okay I halved the DPI. Now it's 1600 instead of 3200. But now it takes a lot longer to reach things with the cursor and I have to move my arm more. Could I develop carpal tunnel syndrome or some sort of repetetive stress disorder as a result of this decision?

Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Mouse>Pointer Options Tab. Tick 'Enhance Pointer Precision' on. You might also want to display Pointer Trails, in the middle not too short/long.
