does one ever get used to the admittedly slow speed of burst fire? as a slinger who was used to weak, but reliably fast double shot for 60 levels, i find it hard to acclimate to using burst fire. do you eventually get used to it?

Seeing much bigger numbers than you are normally accustomed to makes up for it. That's how I saw it anyway

If you liked jumping around and firing as a slinger, you're guna b in for a little disappointment on your first time as an outlaw. You have to re-learn jumping and firing all over again. But yes, you do get used to it. It becomes normal and doesn't feel lik a negative point for your outlaw. If you happen to party with a buc then speed infusion will give a a half step towards that good ol' double shot speed again.

It took me about 2 levels to get used to Burst Fire. It feels pretty fast now.

I never had a problem. I rarely used Double fire anyway, for fear of running out of mighties at lower ascent and having to come all the way back up T.T

Does Rapid Fire replace Burst Fire? You can never shoot 3 bullets at once again?

Nope, you can use burst, but max RF has more DPS, even lv 1 DPS has more DPS then max Burst at lv 1. And according to efer, Max Burst > Max RF in training [not trying to sound sarcastic, just showing source to validate statement, since i'm only lv 100 and wouldn't know]

IcyShockMan : Does Rapid Fire replace Burst Fire? You can never shoot 3 bullets at once again? You can't use Rapid Fire in midair (except by jumpshotting), which makes it almost completely useless when you're training, because if you're going to use an attack from the ground, you might as well use Cannon. Burst Fire is very helpful for finishing monsters off, doing some damage while jumping at them, etc. Also, Corsairs usually don't wear a lot of speed gear because you can just Dash everywhere you walk. Walk-RFing is very speed dependent.
