I know they say 1 avenger, max shadow partner, etc... but what if you cant afford (i know im RLY poor) the summoning rock required to use them? I dont NEED Fj, and i dont really have a penultimate need for alchemist currently... I can get pots much cheaper than from an npc, due to a special friend (yes i have special frinds XD) i LOVEEE avenger, but i want a good skill build for when bf leech becomes less effective.

go with avenger build, I did and its faster training at least at windraiders which u should train on. Those are pretty much the only builds (avenger and sp builds) but u can be creative like meso up/alchemist build?

Yeah, basically, ever since people started to train at Lower Ascent, the getting Avenger to level 21 first build starting to be a lot more normal to see. But of course, you kind of stuck at WR for a while. Level 1 Flash Jump should last you for a while as well, and it is very useful in this map. Those are the two main builds that you can do now, unless you are LUKless. ><

So you recommend getting avenger to level 5, put one on FJ and then continue to max avenger? Sounds good to me. Also, afterwards im thinking of getting meso up to 5 and maxing that skill that you unlock from 5 meso up.... or should i go alchemist?

Also, afterwards im thinking of getting meso up to 5 and maxing that skill that you unlock from 5 meso up.... or should i go alchemist? I don't recommend maxing out Avenger. If you going to do that build, I would get it to level 21 and getting Shadow Partner ASAP. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend going that build either, as you basically going to be stuck at WR-like mobs for quite a while. Also, Shadow Partner will bring out the most in each attacking skill you have. Yes, Summoning Rocks may cost a lot (If you done the Alcaster quest, it's 5k per 1-3 minute), but the WR badges can help you pay for your Summoning Rocks and still gain a little bit of money. Of course, if you do plan on stay at Lower Ascent until mid 80s, then go with the build you are planning on. But yeah, I would get level 1 FJ early too, since it will help you move around the map faster. Whatever build you do go with though, I would get SP and Avenger to level 21 first. Then start focusing on Alchemist and Flash Jump. Just put enough into it depending on where you train and going back to maxing out Avenger. Meso Up is more of a luxury skill. You only gain meso, if the monster drop it. If you are in places that you aren't going to loot a lot, then you don't need this skill until later on. If you plan on Leprechaun hunting, then this skill will be very helpful. |

why not max avenger or SP?

I said to max out SP. Leaving Avenger at 21 will allow you to hit up to 6 monsters at once, and that should be enough for all the mobs you going to be training at for a while. Rather than maxing it, I was saying start building up your SP after you get level 21 on it, so you can bring out the potential damage out for both both Lucky 7 and Avenger. Possibly drain as well, if you use it. It helps you heal a bit more.

xavijim : why not max avenger or SP? this is the most common build: 5 avenger, 1 fj, 30 sp, then u decide, sinnce wrs are best training spot till 90 avenger build is faster which is 5 avennger, 1 fj 21 or 30 avenger, then SP to 30 then u decide those are the 2 builds that are efficent If u ask me theres no point of beeing original with the skill build just follow the regular/common sense build thats efficient and thats all, choose one and go with it. Of course if u want to be original u can try webbing himes or newts or any other monsters idk, be creative, who knows? It can turn out its better

Ok, so Im level 91 and im very pleased with my build i kinda mixed it up a bit and it worked out great for me. My Build was lv70:1 SP lv71:3 Avenger lv72:2 Avenger 1 FJ [Since FJ is really helpful both to get places faster then ant other class and in combat, easier avoiding attacks] lv73-82: All in SP lv83:Finsih SP and 1 in Avenger lv84-90:Max Avenger lv91-97:Max FJ then after FJ I'll max alchemist then meso up and put final points into shadow mesos

OMG. o.o wispa12, look what you did! lol jk jk xD That is an somewhat creative build though. lol But seriously, that's like a LUKless build that went backwards some what. Shadow Mesos is a great skill, if you are a LUKless. As it can do 3000-12000 damage when only equiping a Garnier and using subis. Of course, it will never get higher than that, so eventually your Lucky Seven/Triple Throw will be stronger that it. So one point in it is enough for fun. Now why do you not want SP? You have sooo many mesos saving skill, that you should be able to make money and pay off all of the summoning rocks and pots you used for quite a while. I only used Drain for a while at WR, and I save an earn so much from the badges alone. Not only that, you are sacrificing damage for Shadow Mesos. When SP could raise your potential damage of Drain, Lucky Seven, Triple Throw, AND your favorite skill Avenger. Besides, by the end of 3rd job, you should have max out all your vital skill (SP, Avenger, Alchemist, FJ, Mesos Up) anways and still have points left to put into Dark Sight and the rest into Shadow Web (which is helpful when soloing black crow. The only thing that the three main build would used SM for is to kickback a monster at lower levels. Also, having 2 points into it isn't very cost affective as it used only last for 1 minutes. Seriously, get SP max. xD

You know, not so long ago the FJ first build was never recommended anywhere. I personally am going the old fashioned way (albeit with a little variation), 1 Avenger, Max SP, +4 Avenger (to 5), 1 FJ, Max Avenger. Not sure what to do next though lol.

Oh, that was because back then you was training at hoodoos (people do still recommend it for fun though, so I wouldn't say never. xD ). It's a small flat map that doesn't really need FJ. Plus the cost per flash jump is a lot at level 1. But since Lower Ascent came out, it start becoming more of a norm. Anyways, you should do like a mix of Alchemist and FJ. Like if the place you going deal 1800 damage to you, get Alchemist to level 7 so it will heal you completely with Barbs. Get enough FJ for you comfort zone. You just need level 8 FJ to jump over the mobs of himes, btw. Once you got that, just pick. If you want to save money and up the duration of your ATT pots, raise Alchemist. If you want to move around the map faster and potentially raise your %/hr, get FJ. Or you could start putting points into Dark Sight during this time, since it's useful at NightShadows (when max). |
