I had a class with this one guy the past school year. He would always go way out of his way to hold doors open for me, and tons of other little things. I'm 99% sure he is interested in me, and I'm interested in him too. But it was the kind of thing where we both didn't really know how to approach each other, so we never really talked? Obviously we talked, like, "can you pass this paper up" or "what was the answer to #6?" and stuff - but never a real conversation. He's a year older than me - he's gonna be a senior and I'm going to be a junior. But we only have like 1 or 2 classes in common, so it's really unlikely I'll have a class with him this coming year.My school has 2500 students. If I don't have any classes with him how am I supposed to, you know, interact? Talk to him? I don't know him well enough to say hi when we pass eachother in the hall. If we had a class together we would have way more opportunities to talk. It's not as easy as joining a club he's in because at my school most of the clubs are more like cliques, or groups of friends, and he's pretty popular. And we don't have ANY friends in common.

Well, just straight up "Will you go out with me?"s are usually the best method, I find. If he does like you, then he'll accept. But you only have this year to do it...SO DO IT! (Don't wait for him to ask you out...just...don't)

You're gonna have to get up and say something, if you still want a fighting chance. For starters, if someone's in your class that's enough of a reason to say hi while passing in the hall. Try it, it's not as if he's gonna say "Ew, get away from me you freak."

tell him you like him, or give him a sign. try to ask him to hang out and stuff to make sure hes 100% interested because 99% isn't good enough or it'll be weird to pull a move on him if he didn't like you that way. and don't tell him you like him right away, get to know him first. i don't think any boy wants a girl that JUST wants a boyfriend.
