| So I go to log into maple the other day, and find that my account was permanently banned for "hacking or illegal use of third party programs". So I log a ticket to nexon saying this: "When I tried to log in today, I found a message saying this: "Your account has been blocked for hacking or illegal use of third-party programs. The ID has been permanently blocked. So you won't be able to use this account." I was shocked. Simply shocked. I have been playing Maplestory since beta, and I have spent a lot of my money supporting it. I have developed a sort of emotional attachment to it. And I realize that according to the Terms of Service, my account is still property of Nexon, but Maplestory and my account mean so much to me. I'm very surprised that I have been banned, since I am not the kind of person who would use hacks or bots or whatever it was that I was banned for. I would have too much to risk. I made my account 4-5 years ago, and have put in so much of my time and money to risk it on some petty thing like some "third party program". As I close, I want to assure you that I was not using any form of third party program. I have also heard that to these kind of tickets, from a minor person like myself, to such a big corporation, I might receive some kind of automated response like "We are sorry, but we cannot remove the restriction from your account." I would really hope and would also ask you, please do not respond to my ticket in this way. I know that my business is probably not the biggest issue you have there, but this ban is truly a big issue for me. Please remove the ban from my account, no hacks or third party programs have ever been used on my account, or IP address." They haven't replied yet. It's been three days, I'm still off rankings and can't log in, but my name isn't on the permanent ban list. Discuss. |
