Let me put it this way - all of the new laptops/computers will play maplestory. You'd have to buy a piece for like hundred bucks to be concerned about its performance.

if you're a student you can get discount from HP Academy. Cuts it down $79. I used that to get a 4gb memory upgrade and a 6 cell and 12 cell battery. I'm assuming you're planning to buy the HP Pavilion Entertainment Laptop PC series dv4t (customized)

hp= wail. Ican tell you from personal experince that i's not a good brand. I've had 2 hp laptops one of them which i had to get repaired repeatedly many times. And the other one now that is starting to have it's components destroyed . It's way better to get a desktop to play on than an laptop

And the other one now that is starting to have it's components destroyed . It's way better to get a desktop to play on than an laptop HP sells one of the most computers. So there are going to be a more people who going to have problems with it; however, I know a bunch of people (like 45% who bought a prebuild desktop and laptop) will disagree with you. They have for years and never once had any problems with it. But even if they did, it was most likely cause by themselves from improper maintenance or abuse, like most computer problems. Also, it's obvious that you can get a desktop that will outperform a laptop. But you are forgetting one thing that a laptop has over an desktop. The mobility of it. The freedom to move to one place to another. He may getting one because his parents are divorce and he move from houses to houses. Or he setting off to college soon. If he we to just keep it in one spot, then I would agree with you. But we don't know that, as he only stated, if it can play MS or not. Anyways, if you only playing MS on that TS, then yes, it will run MS well. You can even Zak on it if you want. And I do believe that's a good price for a Canadian price. Then again, I'm bad with prices. xD For $50 more you could get a laptop with the same specs, but with a ATI Mobility Radeon 4330 graphic. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152129 In your price range, if you don't mind buying a refurbished andyou planning on playing more graphical taxing games like Crysis or something (this computer is OVERKILL for MS). http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4786505&CatId=3998 |

xmasturxcheefx1 : WTF your links turn out as weight loss sites Seriously? o.O I don't know about you, but my first one direct meh to the MSI CX600-049US on Newegg.ca and the other one I just noticed is from the wrong site...It's was the Asus G50, but that's for the US. TS ignore that second link, as it will be $60 over your budget since your are in Canada. Edit: Maybe your computer is telling you to loss weight? ;D lol jk jk xD
