Hey i was wondering the specs of a computer to sirvive in zakum i have a desktop thats 500g 2.1 ghz 3g but for some reason it still look like im lagging like the grafic card sucks or something its a HP and drivers up to date will it sirvive zakum oh i have 1.2g of dl speed so internet is not a problem

can you give me the full specs, like ram, graphics card, cpu (processor) and harddisk (amount+name of it) and you must have 2gb ram as minimum for win 7 to run the OS+maplestory and you need a decent graphics card, but the worst pc's (100-200 dollar) can even run ms at highest settings at zakum, so just buy a cheap one if you can't afford a better one :D TIP: go to task manager->services put explorer.exe off when you are going to maple and start maple by doing this, task manager->applications->new task and search maplestory and run it, to start explorer.exe again after playing maplestory do task manager->applications->new task and type in explorer.exe and now you got your desktop back :D

i cannot its late and desk top is outside all i know is the ghz = 2.1 memory is 3g hardrive 500 g and its a hp desktop updated grafics

A bit less with better memory management. So no, the minimum isn't 2GB. If I turn off everything and only have MS on, my RAM usage doesn't go past 1GB. But I'll say 2GB is a recommendation for Win7 though, and that should be enough for average users. Also, there are computers out their that doesn't run MS well. Let alone Zak, but you are able to find a cheap computer if you really search. Anyways, what determine whether you going to D/C or not is your graphic card. If you have an IGP from like nVidia series 6000/7000, that will cause you problems.

I got a very old pc too wich is still running with a intel celeron 1.3ghz cpu and a onboard gpu wich doesn't support aero on win 7 with 512mb sdram and even that pc did 1 zakum completely on low settings and all background stuff shut off and that's from a pc that old. So I recommend if you got win 7 with a mid-end - high-end pc you MUST have a bare minimum of 2gb and I say this because I have win vista 64bit ultimate edition and win 7 64bit ultimate edition running with dual boot and I checked the usage of ram and win 7 uses much more ram but doesn't need a good GPU & CPU to run the software. EDIT: A 7000 (7500LE TC 320mb) nvidia serie graphics card wich I had before my GTX 295 in SLI did GTA IV at MAXED settings with 8fps and that's a 7 serie's graphics card so get a cheap pc from a store where they let you custimize the graphics card and than choose as minimum a nvidia geforece 8400gs wich can handle the normal user's application's easily with NO doubts but you can forget playing a new fancy hardcore game at high settings and maxed res.

Well, I'm using windows 7 x64 and my memory usage is around 1.85GB. With lots of programs running. And on vista x64 ultimate is using around 2.74GB RAM

I don't really get why you are using so much RAM then. I'm kind of having trouble reading it btw (just woke up). From every comment I heard, the RAM is the same or much less. Even leungwk01 didn't use up to that much. -shrugs- I don't have Win7, besides on one computer. I'm planning on getting another partition for to see for myself. As for your 7500 LE...Isn't that a dedicated card anyways? o.O When I said any IGP from nVidia 6000/7000 series (mostly the 6150/7150 ones). IGP are integrated and usually don't have a lot of bandwidth to run Zak. And as I stated many times before in another thread, there's a lot of FPS problems with MS in general. There's a thread on it here as well. One more thing, why mentioned the 295 GTX in SLI? o.O That was very irrelevant and seem like an attempt to showoff. o.o Vladzy : So Intel series IGPs are a non-issue? Intel GMA 4500MHD should be able to run it without any problems. A GMA 3100 does have problems for some people as well, but others were able to run it. o.O I guess their internet plays a role on that part then. When he said, you could get like any computer at 100-200 (do they even sell them for that much? xD) and run it on HIGH at Zak...No, if that was the cause, you wouldn't be seeing a bunch of people worrying about D/C and those who did D/C on the forum. This is for both Vista and XP.
