70% Scrolls *Rant*

Since blowing up my priests first Zhelm on the first slot with a 70% scroll, I have avioded using 70% scrolls. Recently I've been thinking of scrolling a dex bathrobe for my bandit because I have a few overall dex scrolls left on my mule (3 30%'s and 3 70%'s). I figured since I was also using 30%'s and since I hadn't used a 70% in a while, it was unlikely to blow on a 70% if I could land a 30% on the first slot. First slot 30% *Lands* Second slot 30% (Feeling pretty good) *Lands* Third slot 30% (Doing well so far, I had these leftover anyway so why not) *Lands* The robe was now at 15 Dex, 7 slots. A smart person would've probably stopped here or at least used safer scrolls. Fourth slot 70% *lands* Fifth slot 70% *lands* 19 Dex, 5 slots... Easily the best item I have ever scrolled so far in maple. Sixth slot 70% *BOOM!* How is it that 70% scrolls work less than 30%'s? It's ridiculous. I should've stopped earlier but I just could help thinking I was on such a roll... /end rant

Lmao, 6 DEX below perfect (19 5 slot to a 25 5 slot) You were a bit greedy there. One would think to listen when people express their feelings about 70s and agree mostly that they destroy items much too often.

I thought 30% overall dex added 4 dex not 5 But i might be wrong

One would think to listen when people express their feelings about 70s and agree mostly that they destroy items much too often. Yeah, I clearly was a bit greedy. I should've just thought about it and bought 5 60%'s at that point... In my experience, 70% and 30% scrolls are about equal in how often they land on items, yet 70%' seem to blow items up more readily whereas 30%'s just fail.

Its a chance. Not that 70 worse than 30. Use a 60. Why would you want a 70, 10% more to make ur item go boom for 15%?

since there's a 15% chance of self-destruction for 70% scrolls, it should blow up once when using them to scroll overall.

EFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF The fact you can land a SINGLE 30% makes your scrolling luck far better than mine with 30%s.... OK LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT WITH YOU. DO NOT use a dark scroll of any sort on any equip if you DON'T want it to explode. NEVER. Even a 70% scroll has a 15% chance of exploding.
