Is hot sauce bad for a dog?

She keeps chewing on her leash so we're planning on putting hot sauce on the part where she chews on so we won't touch it no more. I'm jsut afraid it might have some chemical reaction with her mouth

They make stuff for that already. Go to your local pet store and ask for it. It's apple flavored, but it's really sour.

My dog only eats dry food if it's drenched with hot sauce, so it should be fine.

ICantKs : Oooooh. Is it a spray or something? Exactly. I used this for my dog (back when she was a puppy) to make her stop biting holes in the wall. I just sprayed a little of it on the wall, and it worked.
