Sheeeeeeep. If the OP supported maple datin- ok never mind. But yeah, online dating is a joke. Online relationships fail because of the lack of trust. It's hard enough to hold a relationship in real life; online, you have to trust them completely, 100%, do or die. And for most kids, that's hardly feasible. Online relationships only work with maturity, trust, and patience. 95% of all long distances are just...no. xd. Hell, some don't even know what the other person LOOKS like, or SOUNDS like. They don't have a physical ..thing. That's all there is to it.

You realize that MS has too diverse of a community to be generalized like this. For some people, this really matters to them (online relationships). The least you can do is respect their right to do what they want to do, instead of promoting despicable conceptions about relationships like these.

The only people that I personally would consider getting married to (I don't use nx for stuff like that though...) would be good friends who I enjoy playing with. However, that doesn't mean I have to trust them or do what those "real" couples do. Online friends can enjoy each others company and all, but it does have a limit. And...maplestory smex is just...blehh.

Yes, way to judge a whole bunch of people by a select group. You realize YOU are the despicable and immature ones here, for starting this thread and not respecting other people's rights. Also, about the physical aspect, if you enjoy a person's company more than others, I believe it's perfectly acceptable "to be in a relationship with them." Of course, the problem with some online relationships is that the couple doesn't respect the actual concept of what a relationship is, and yes, I believe THOSE people are disgusting and immature, but you have to realize that most people in online relationships are not like this.

I'm some-what upset that no one has said that girl/guy was sexy or what not yet. I came here expecting someone to say something like that. But yeah, online dating is a joke. Unless your using it to get close or what not and meet irl, I find it quite pointless.
