What is the point of dexless sins, strless bowmen, etc.?

Ok I understand why people go with special stat builds: if less points are used in the "mule" - as I will refer to in this thread - stat, more points will be used in the "power" -as I will refer to in this thread - stat (ex. sins: less in dex, more in luk). But if you go "mule-less" - as I will refer to in this thread - and end up NOT using equips with mule points for stronger weapons, is there really a point if those equipment mule points could instead be power points? Obviously, I'm writing this with the asssumption that equip and level-up ap points hav the exact same atk power - correct me if wrong.

For archers, you can use equips since they have no str requisite.

OT : Well, TS, many people like to have power at young levels as well, and maybe later turn into a normal stat character. Like me, I'm dexless, but I'm changing into Low-dex at around 90, or maybe even normal dex.

i never understood this either... take dexless sins for example (because there are so many of them)... couldnt they keep dex at normal and luk scroll their equips? surely that would work the same, but let them always equip the best stuff?

Dex equips tend to cost less then Luk, and I think it has something to do with Maple Warrior.

More stats for their primary stat, which allows them to do more damage.

I've also wondered the same. Perhaps it's best to go with low dex (especially with 52 ht pends in circulation).

It'd be harder to scroll your equips for the luk you missed out by adding dex. Dex is quite cheaper than luk. It comes down to money and power, basically.

The reason why Dexless sins are so popular is because Lucky Seven and Triple Throw's damage is based off of LUK, and isn't affected by DEX whatsoever. But their other attacks like Avenger are severely hurt by this because the damage for that is based off of their mastery/range. While other classes their secondary stat still helps with all of their damage.

Why do that when they could just luk scroll their equips while keeping high luk? It doesn't work the same because higher armors don't even give that much of a difference in stats. So compared to the amount you dump into DEX for Equips, the Luk if you say go Dexless Sin, is much better in terms of damage.
