Well Nexon is money hungry whereas KMS focuses more on the players than money. Their Cash items are forever whereas Nexon is limited to 3 months.

I think it's because Koreans absolutely love games like this. They're the leading supplier of grinding MMORPGs. Not sure why they enjoy it so much though.... EDIT: And also, most of the Maple population is of Asian decent even in the Global version. Weird huh?
