Is the $1000 fine thing real? If you dont know what i mean, in the Maple TOS it says if you are caught hacking you will be fined $1000. Just curios. Thanks

I read somewhere that you cannot make money by suing. They can only sue you for the damages you've done to the game, which would be like 5 bucks?

breaking ToS does not always mean breaking the law. they cant actually sue you for hacking

c0jeffc0 : breaking ToS does not always mean breaking the law. they cant actually sue you for hacking They can actually sue you for hacking, they don't sue every person they catch because they would lose a ton of money and time doing that. The only people you see getting arrested are the people that gave themselves like 7M Nx, that's really NOT good for their game. Plus thats like stealing $7000 from them electronically.

They can sue you if you like hack their servers. ex. Becoming a gm, stealing nx, etc.. But I doubt they can do anything to you besides a ban if you're just botting or whatever.
