This blind, geriatic woman almost gave me $150.

Today, I was on my way to Papa John's to get myself 2 large pizza pies for $7.99 a pie. However, before I could cross the street to reach the store, I came across an elderly and blind woman. I assumed she was blind because she had her walking dog, a walking stick, and sunglasses on. I asked her if she needed help crossing and she said, "Yes, thank you young man." After guiding her across the street, she told me to wait. I asked her if she needed anything else and she said, "No, no, but here take this for your good deeds." She took out a very small pocket book and handed me 3 crisp fifty dollar bills. I'm not sure if she meant to give me $3 or some other amount because she could not see what she was giving me. Nevertheless, I refused, gave it back, and wished her farewell. What would you have done?

In harvest moon games, the npc doesnt reject the gifts you give since it was rude... I would had asked about the amount she was giving first though

I'm proud of you. (: Regardless if she meant to give you that much or not, walking a woman across the street should be a deed done for free, not for such a high amount or an amount at all. She could use that towards something more important in her life, even if someone offering help was important. Anyways, I'm glad you did that. Good people allow me to sleep at night.

I would ask her if she meant to give me that much, and then whatever she answered I'd be fine with. The thing is, no one ever said she wasn't some rich person, and no one said she was frail. You people simply assume that if they're blind, they're poor, old and frail. Pretty stereotypical.
