I heard warriors are bad at using the maker skills because we have low hands? So does it mean if i make a reverse weapon, the chance of it breaking will be higher? can someone explain it to me before i spend 450m+ on making it and it blows up >.>

Only risk of something is jewels and crystals equips don't have effect from hands (90% sure)

You were told a half-truth. The stat of Hands (Dex + Int + Luk), only affects the Maker skill when a Stimulator is used. Stimulators have the ability to give you stronger items but also carry a 10% chance of failure, meaning destruction, if you use them. According to data compiled on the Maker skill from MSEA the Hands stat affects and reduces the failure rate of a Stimulator. However, we've still yet to get specifics on how much Hands affects Stimulators if any at all. I made my Reverse Sword with a Stimulator and I had 108 Hands. As you can see, it's still here. An NL with over 1000 Hands created a Lampion with a Stimulator and destroyed it. There's a pic of it on Sleepywood. Go figure, right?

I always believed hands had something to do with the chance that you can get a Adv/INT by just strengthening 1 jewel. But that's just me.

There's a different set of %s for getting a Basic, Intermediate, and Advance Crystals for each category of gems when appraising normal gems. For example I believe there's a 5% chance of getting an Adv. Diamond when appraising a normal one and like a 1% chance to appraise an Adv. Stat Crystal. Hands shouldn't play any role in that at all. Just good ole luck and RNGs.

Well, if you're ballsy enough go for it. 10% isn't that big of chance anyway. Stimulators eliminate any chance of your sword being below average so that's a definite plus. My stimulator didn't destroy my Nibleheim, however, I only landed 4/9 60%s on it... and then later I nailed 7/7 60%s for Pet Speed... I feel like I've been mocked =/.

Stimulators are said to keep the weapon at average stats or above. So that way, you only run the risk of a 10% blow out, to guaranteeing decent clean stats on your weapon.

I hear from some that the higher the Hands, the lower the chance that the item you make turns out to be a piece of Mushie poop. Dunno if this is true, but i hear from some it is. I have less than 200 Hands, even w/ equips. I chickened out and didn't use a stimulator in making my Reverse Bellocce. The gems i used in making it were Adv. Diamond, Adv. Power Crystal and Inter. Dark Crystal. It turned up w/ 5 STR and 117 att, then 6/9 60%s worked 8D Also, i hear from a friend Dark Crystals only affect STR, DEX, INT and LUK. Turns out the one i used turned up a zero. lol >.> XD
