PB without hp washing?

Is it possible for a NL to PB without hp washing at all?

I find it odd that they would put in a boss that does more damage than a class can take without the use of a bug (and i consider HP washing a bug b/c you're taking points out of something you never put points into, you just wore a seperate set of gear when you hit your last hit for the level).

In order to tank the Genesis, I know you have to have 8100 HP before Hyperbody, I just don't know if it's reasonably possible to survive by dodging the Genesis attack. I've heard that it is, but it seems like it would be really tough. When you HP wash, you aren't taking points out that you never put in. You can not HP wash unless there is one point that you have put into the MP/HP pool. Since HP and MP share the same stat pool, all you are doing is putting a point into HP and then sacrificing your MP by resetting the point that you put into HP out of MP, back to your primary stat. The only reason people wear INT gear when they level up is because you gain more MP that way, and there is a Minimum amount of MP that you are allowed to have before you can't reset anymore points.

You are getting extra MP by wearing INT gear, which is a perfectly Legit way of gaining more MP. Nexon must have programmed it so that you get 1 MP per 10 INT, or else you simply wouldn't.

I get your point, and i'm not trying to argue about the fact that it works, or that I think its bad, i dont. I think there's no detremental effect on the game and it just allows people to have a bit higher (or alot depending on the amount done) HP and thus do bosses earlier etc. My arguement is that the means by which to get this seem very close to what most people what would be considered a Bug / exploit, but since it is accepted then its fine. My original point is just that it seems wierd for a boss to be designed where you'd HAVE to HP wash a certain class in order to successfully live through the fight without stacking HP gear. edit: to add, i guess i'll ask. Is it worth trying to get the Extra int gear now (lvl 78) if i somehow get AP resets later on? Whats the cheapest piece to get int from (outside of a Zhelm, still trying to get on a Zrun atm).

I know that's your point and my point is that it's not a bug. Nexon purposely made it so that having 10 INT gives you 1 Extra MP. Whether or not they thought about the effect of the INT on Equipment adding extra MP, I do not know. Either way, it's an oversight if anything, not a bug. To answer your question, decently scrolled but not godly INT Capes and Earrings are fairly cheap. Also low INT robes. Shields and Gloves tend to be extremely expensive though.
