Parent Delete = CK Gone?

People have repeatedly told me over the past week that I shouldn't delete my main because he's the parent character of my CK, and that if I delete the parent, the CK gets deleted at the same time as well. Is this true?

Yes, but you can delete your Ko'C without your parent character disappearing.

What if you transfer your CK, would that change anything?

If you delete the parent character that made the CK, the CK will NOT be deleted. I tried it (:
