Question about soul blade (dawn warriors)

so my dawn warrior is lvl 40 and his soul blade is level 20 i noticed the damage percent is 160% but at level 21 it drops down to 135% either im really confused about this skill or theres something wrong here.. Clarification please.

range increases and so does the number of mob it hits. just wait for 2 levels and then level it up

Just put the point in so it replaces slash blast. Well I guess it depends where you training. I was training at ant tunnel and there were major mobs that I could 1ko with soul blade.

If you noticed the damage it drops to is higher than when it was at skill level of 1 or 11, when you finish maxing it Soul Blade will have a higher damage % so there's that perk too.
