Hello. I was just wondering how my skills should be in chronological order. I already maxed out fire pillar, have 3 in tele, and accidently put too much in booster. so basically my skills show up as Flame Pillar - 20 Tele - 3 Spell Booster - 16 and the rest are 0 I was deciding on getting medi, tele, fire arrow and then slow but I'm not sure about elemental reset. Should I not put any into Fire Arrow? I feel as if elemental reset might be useless and leave it at 0. Please share your thoughts.

Reset is definitely definitely NOT useless. In the end, max every skill except slow or fire arrow. You get 1 point for the last one.

Well is maxing slow necessary? Because I could just flame curtain the whole map instead of worrying if the monsters are gonna be moving too fast right? I just feel that I need a strong 1v1 attack before 70.

You won't need a strong 1v1 attack before 70. Before 70, you are training by mobbing. After 70, you train by mobbing. And you get firestrike. Which is just as strong as fire arrow, except with 6 targets. Up to you though. And slow isn't necessary. It + seal is useful at peak from 77+.

To me I don't see why element reset would be useful. I mean why would you go and train on a monster that is resistant to your element? I currently am maxing it but that was because many guides preferred it.

Are the guards resistant to fire?

Max everything except for fire arrow. You'll never use fire arrow after 3rd job (Fire strike replaces it). Reset is a very useful skill that you'll be using until the end.

You'll also barely use Fire Arrow during Second Job. If you have a mobbing attack, why would you use a 1vs.1 to train? You might want it for CPQ but that's a very short span of your maple life to waste 20 SP on. Elemental Reset isn't for training, I like it for convenience. Remember that all of your attacks are fire-based so you won't have any other options against fire-resistant monsters than to deal half damage. When you're using Flame Gear at peak, slow becomes useful in keeping the Nest Golems and Skeles from chasing you across the map and attacking until you max Seal. Using Slow on a Nest Golem almost makes them seem immobile, too, because they move so slow already.

Meh, I maxed Fire Arrow before instead of Slow. I did that for when I did Boss Raids since it's stronger than my Fire Pillar, and hopefully it will help come time for Mu Lung Dojo. Elemental Reset helps A LOT when you have to do a quest or something and they are fire-resistant, I can do twice the damage as I would without. I also found Elemental Reset good in my CPQ days. I did my points like this Max Fire Pillar Max Elemental Reset Max Magic Booster Max Fire Arrow Max Meditation Max Teleport

Also when you sell leech at harps you will need elemental reset and its a good place because we 1hko them at 110-120, and we probally never get to 1hko skeles or newties. My build was: max fire pillar > 11 booster > max teleport > max meditation > max booster > max elemental reset> max slow > 1 fire arrow. Fire arrow is just a bit stronger then claw, and a lot weaker then fire strike which hits 6 monster so completely useless.
