Okay well.. the thing is I have cheap ass asian parents. We own a boat and many other crap. People call me at school spoiled just because my parents own this crap. My mother decides to buy me clothes that I dislike. I tell her I am old enough to buy the clothes for myself yet she says just be quiet and wear what I tell you to do, it is true but it makes me look like a joke. Because the clothes are hideous, they're like freaken 10 year old shirts like shirts with dragons on them and crap. Of course I do not wear this at school. I switch off wearing the few clothes I bought for myself with the money I saved up for years. My step-dad has bought me a computer that was 900 dollars. I told him I would like to exchange that money for money on clothes. And I begged him. He said sure. But I doubt my mother will let my dad give me the money. He'll probably end up giving me $100. So with 100 dollars what can I buy? I plan on buying some jeans yet they are around 30 dollars so I'd have to keep on wearing those jeans for months and end up getting worn out. I also need new shirts. At the moment I have MANY gay looking shirts in my wardrobe and they were probably like 5 dollars each or something idk. And I have jeans that when I wore it the first time for some weird reason they got baggier after the first time I wore it. They were supposed to be skinny jeans yet I have no idea why. I am not fat nor is my butt big. I am skinny and below average weight for my age. So anyways what should I do.. Please help me..

Izaki : You cant buy ANYTHING with $100. Everytime I go shopping I spend at least $200 and most times only come home with 1 piece of clothing. 2 if I'm lucky. Anything under $100 is honestly dirt, ugly clothes. Edit: I'm buying asics tigers (shoes) next saturday. $160 :D LOL

At least your parents pay for your clothing. I have to buy my own clothing with my own hard-earned cash. You're probably young and you'll grow out of your clothes in 3 months anyway. Be grateful.

Our generation is the only generation that can possibly be proud about spending more then 100$ on one item of clothing.. Any other person would call that being a fool.

To think I thought I was acting spoiled for buying 2 pairs of jeans at PacSun for 55. Now I know whenever I need to justify my urges to buy clothing I just read basil threads about kids buying outrageously expensive clothing.

Soulersteam : My friend, I actually try to donate to Africa, instead of sitting on my ass all day wielding the glorious sin of gluttony. I care about poverty, and I'd love to do anything I can to help. So I care. I care. Whether you care or not, do we really need to change the topic of EVERY thread which involves money to an "Africa is doing so much worse, donate to them, they are in poverty" thread?

Go to a store like Target? The clothes there are pretty cheap and decent looking.

My Mum is like that too Once she bought like some really disgusting slippers/shoes, and she asked me if i like them or not... now if i said that i didn't like them, she'd yell at me. So obviously i said yes ;D. So now each time i'm going out of something, she always hassles me about those ugly shoes .___. Dw, my mum buys weird clothes & stuff for me too. EDIT: Last year, she started letting me choose my own clothes, lol. but apparently she has to like it too .___. and half the clothes i like she hates

My mom used to do that, until I persuaded her that it's not fashion, lol. She just doesn't make good decisions on how the clothes look like
