Okay well ive been playing ms for a while now and ive seen people from this guild called MintasForce? Anyone else heard of it? Yeah that one, and apparently their leader who's ign I thought to be GreatMinta [lol] is actually some guy called SoulBond? [This is in windia btw] and well I heard of the guild and I thought I'd ask him whether I could join his guild. This guy started laughing [literally going "HAHAHAHAHAHA"] by now I felt kinda stupid so I told him he was a jerk. And he's like stupid noob and all of a sudden some random guy comes into our map with the ign "030599940" [or something] and whispers me with "@@ x20" and I dc'ed ._. then i relogged and asked somebody if they knew who he was and they were all like oh yeah that hacks all merchants. O_O ... so now I have myself wondering does he know my account info? Can anyone clarify this for me please... edit: So other people HAVE heard of him which means im not paranoid but I guess being hacked was an overreaction. the only reason I thought he would hack me is because I heard from a friend he hacked some lvl 200 people before his trade hack was patched and he might get it back. O:

That's okay. It's just a DC hacker. Harmless? Yes Annoying? Definitely. I was hit by one as well at peak yesterday, don't worry.

Minta is simply a d/c hacker. He doesn't 'hack' people's accounts, not that I've heard of anyways. Also, SoulBond is Minta.

Well I guess I just dont like being dc'ed and when I relog everyones f6-ing and laughing at me. Like seriously I didnt ask for pity im just wondering because theres been a scare going around with the hacking via ms route. So... its a given that im a little paranoid.

He seems to get pissed off pretty easily as well, which is probably why so many people have been victim to him. The only thing you have to worry about is if he attempts to d/c you ALL the time after you confront him, because even if you block whispers/chats and go to a place where he can't, the flood of whispers will most likely d/c you blocked or not.

Nothing to be afraid of. It's just a harmless d/c hacker. D/C hackers don't hack your account, they just spam "@" or whatever causing you to d/c.
