| Does anyone play this game? It's a pretty new doujin fighter by an ex-employee from Capcom, the same guy who did the character sprites for King of Fighters EX: Neo Blood. Vanguard Princess is another game that's similar to Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Street Fighter, or other 2D fighting games, but it's completely free (due to it being a fan project of sorts) and for the PC. There are 10 playable characters + an unlockable boss character (which I've yet to figure out how to unlock ._.) Vanguard Princess is the best-looking doujin game I've seen so far, too ^_^ Another interesting feature is that Vanguard Princess has a supporter-system, where a supporting "mini-character" helps you fight (it's the player that controls her, though). The supporter cannot be damaged, and has special attacks as well as melee ones, though the damage is rather low and is commonly just used to help keep the combo counts up. The downside is that it's a pain to perform most of the combos with the keyboard, and I highly recommend you use a controller instead. There is also an unofficial netplay (which I haven't tried yet because my wireless keeps going on and off due to the weather .___.) which allows you to play with other people online.
