What's up with people and random defaming?

I personally never get random defamed, maybe because I'm a girl. Also it might be because I never buy fame, so it's a wonder how I ever got 72 fame o-o

That instead of making the person know that you think that buying fame is wrong, just makes them think that u are a jerk. IMO.

That's why I was surprised after this defame.

If someone is really nice and giving people random scrolls, or i think their armor looks super cool, then I'll probably fame them. If they are spamming and being annoying and making it annoying, I probably dont have the time or motivation to explain this to them (not likely to make them stop it anyhow >.>) so I defame them and move along. Defaming someone because they are a different character is kinda lame, since you didnt actually do or say anything, but defaming spammers makes total sense IMO. Also, people take fame to personally. It's supposed to be a vauge annonymous ranking of your popularity in maple. It isnt necessarily supposed to be the equivalent of running up to someone and telling them you hate them.

I once got defamed for telling a person to stop spamming in LPQ, becasue there was only me, and another guy there. Then I famed him so he'd have 100 fame. He gave me 100k. o.o
