Hey guys, I haven't played MS for about 2 years, and I tried to get back on to give to my cousin. I forgot my password, so I attempted to retrieve it using my birthday. I didn't forget my birthday so it should've worked as I've used it countless times in the past to get my pw back. Has anyone else experienced this?

You must've used a different birthday and forgot. Either that or you got hacked by someone that knew your info.

well have u tried to delete a character or gift with that account before? if not maybe you put the bday wrong...

Are you sure you're typing it in the right way? The birthday is typed in as Year/Month/Day... Lol I dont know, I used to keep making that mistake.

I don't remember a time when anyone was able to change their birthday or their last name. Then again, Nexon doesn't require your last name or secret question/answer anymore to change the password.

No, this has happened to a few people I know personally. Their birthdate info and such is messed up somehow yet they have used it countless times in the past to retrieve information. No tickets were responded to in any of these incidents.

@ iireverie and ikokoro: I think it used to be in that format, but now it's changed. The format is now mm/dd/yyyy and it's a dropdown list. @ outspoken420: In a way, it's good to hear that I'm not alone on this. I don't want to send a ticket to Nexon because they'd probably give me some bs automated message. to people who say i forgot or got hacked : I've used it several times in the past (after a long hiatus), so it should've worked this time too. Also, I didn't lie about my birthday. I think if someone logged onto it and did something to it, it would've shown in the rankings. OHSOHOTT is the character, and by looking at the rankings, the equips are still on. Anyways, I want to thank everyone for their response and help. I guess I'll have to say goodbye to my character. I'm not super bummed. It just sucks that I couldn't give my cousin the my mesos or the equips to sell. By the way, it looks like my Stonetooth and other equips are worth poop now. Again, thanks everyone.
